T H E C O M P A N Y About Nuage Designs For over two decades, Nuage Designs has set the standard for couture linens and luxury event rentals — trusted by the world’s top event planners, Fortune 500 companies, and luxury hotels to make moments extraordinary. Founded in Miami’s Wynwood district in 2004, we’ve grown into a team of over 140 across Miami, New York, and Chicago — and we’re just getting started. Now entering our most ambitious chapter yet, we’re doubling down on people who care deeply about quality, design, and the art of the unforgettable. That growth is guided by how we work, not just what we make. We care deeply about our people, our partners, and our craft, and we elevate every experience by going beyond expectations at every touchpoint. We own the outcome, leading with integrity and holding ourselves accountable for the results we deliver — our products may be rented, but the results we deliver are ours. We win as one, building trusted partnerships and shared success through open collaboration, and we grow forward by staying curious, creative, and always learning. We’re looking for exceptional people who are energized by growth, inspired by craft, and ready to help shape a company at an inflection point. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. T H E R O L E The Opportunity The Shipping & Receiving Associate owns every UPS shipment of linen and chargers that moves between our Miami hub and our Chicago warehouse. This role ensures that inbound product arrives complete, correct, and staged for each event, and that returns to Miami are accurately counted, recorded, and shipped. The position works in close coordination with the Chicago Inventory Lead and the Shipping Manager to keep inventory accurate and resolve shipping issues before they reach an event. W H A T Y O U ’ L L D O Duties & Responsibilities Inbound Receiving (from Miami) Receive UPS deliveries of linen and chargers for Chicago orders that are bundled and delivered locally. Count every item and verify it against the order to confirm it arrived complete and correct. Document any damaged or missing items and report them the same day. Partner with the Shipping Manager to resolve problems before they affect an event. Stage linen and chargers for each order in its assigned location so the order is ready to load. Outbound Returns (to Miami) Count linen and chargers returned from events. Report missing or damaged items. Update inventory records with the Inventory Lead so counts stay accurate. Pack, label, and prepare orders for UPS shipment back to Miami. Shipment Tracking Track all inbound and outbound UPS shipments for Chicago daily. Identify late, stuck, or at-risk shipments early, before they become a problem for an event. Escalate concerns to the Shipping Manager and help drive resolution. Warehouse Standards and Safety Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe. Follow Nuage processes and safety standards. Support other warehouse work as needed during the shift. What Success Looks Like Every Chicago order has the right linen and chargers staged on time. Damaged or missing items are found and reported the day they arrive or return — not at the event. Chicago inventory counts match what is physically on the shelf. Return shipments to Miami go out complete and on schedule. Shipping problems are raised early, with few surprises for the Inventory Lead or Shipping Manager. This is a day-shift role, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Reliable, on-time attendance is essential.
