Shipping & Receiving Assistant - 1st

DRM Diversafab, an employee owned company in Baraboo, WI is looking for a motivated, driven, team-oriented person to join our team. Position Summary: Shipping & Receiving all outgoing and incoming product for DRM Diversafab Essential Functions: Inspect, receive & report all incoming materials Movement of incoming material to necessary area. Update inventory cards and adjust quantities based on receipt of materials. Pull material from shelves or pallets for shipping. Pull Sales orders from office for daily shipping requirements. Pull Materials, package, tape, stretch wrap, use pallet wrap machine, label and band shipments before shipping. Load & unload trucks by using pallet jacks or forklifts Ability to work quickly & accurately in a fast environment while keeping organized and accurate documentation. Ability to use hand tools such as tape guns, banders & stretch wrap equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Other duties as assigned Minimal Qualifications: The candidate must be personable, motivated, and a team worker. Candidate should be able to work independently, act decisively, and have above average planning and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Basic understanding of DRM’s technology and product line. Experience: Shipping or receiving experience. Ability to drive Fork Lift Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent. Working Conditions : Standard computer equipment, 40 hours work expected per week during company operating hours. Standing, twisting, lifting, packaging. Safety: Constantly monitor personnel safety and recommend action as needed. Housekeeping Assist and implement good housekeeping practices with supervisors and employees.
