Shipping & Receiving and Material Handler
Eastern BoatsOverview This position plays an important part in keeping daily manufacturing operations running smoothly by managing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory, operating forklifts, and assisting with the movement of boats, trailers, parts, and supplies throughout the facility and yard. Interest in boating is a plus. Mechanically inclined is a plus. Must have valid drivers license. Duties Pull and stage materials and parts for production as needed Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming materials, supplies, and parts Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment Assist with moving boats, trailers, parts, and equipment around the property Experience Forklift experience is an asset; ability to operate equipment must follow applicable safety requirements.
