Shipping & Receiving

The Shipping and Receiving Personnel will work with the inventory of raw materials, finished goods, shipping, and receiving raw materials as well as shipments of finish products. Responsibility's: Coordination of the day-to-day shipping & receiving operations with supervisor. Obtain and process product orders including; receiving shipments, processing deliveries, and distributing and/or racking materials. Updating inventory reports for received raw materials, finished goods, and shipping supplies. Maintaining the organization of the freezers, walk-in cooler and warehouse areas. Plan accordingly to ensure that there is sufficient space for incoming orders and outgoing products are shipped by deadlines. Keep all records of products shipped and received by documenting on the proper paperwork required. Review next day orders scheduled for pickup to ensure orders are complete and ready. Review next day purchase orders scheduled to arrive to coordinate your day. Ensure that all supplied raw ingredients and packaging are store following the first in first out policy Ensure that pallets are being check and those not good discarded Ensure all paperwork/forms gets completed The set-up of all ingredients on floor for the following shift if required. Complete understanding of SOP’s & GMP in the shipping & receiving department. Ability to operate forklift/electric pallet jacks and be certified in the first 60 days. Ability to work inside freezers and walk-in cooler. Be able to physical lift up to 55 lbs. or more; pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, walking. Qualifications: Previous shipping & receiving experience Stand up forklift experience Pallet jack experience Willing to work in and out of a freezer Must be able to stand, bend, stoop and kneel for long periods of time Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously Pay Information: Paid weekly Benefits and PTO after 60 days Employer paid Life and AD&D, short term disability insurance, 401k match
