P&F Machining, Inc., in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a Shipping Post Processing Specialist I for our first shift, that packages, assembles, cleans, kits, ships and/or stocks products in accordance with P&F standards and customer specifications and with minimal supervision. Must live in surrounding communities. Please no out-of-state applications. Essential Functions: Operate a forklift. Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Comply with all quality policies and goals. Follow documented procedures and standards. Proper hand counting and the use of the ERP system to accurately enter both good and scrap quantities. Pay close attention to details including chips, cracks, missing features and discoloration. An ability to work well with hands on small parts is a must. Perform visual inspection of parts and materials. Tumble, clean and package products for shipping. Mix and monitor solutions for tanks used for product cleaning. Ensure cleanliness of tanks used for product cleaning. Proper disposal of hazardous waste. Light assembly and preparation for product finishing processes. Escalate issues to management as needed. Independently manages and maintains workflow and priority requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor. All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner. Skills and Qualifications: Use of scales for the purpose of weighing and counting parts. Use of hand tools. Competence in completing all required paperwork and maintaining meticulous records for every lot to ensure traceability and support audits. Ability to work independently and accurately perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements. Strong attention to detail. Strong mathematic skills. Visual acuity. Fine motor dexterity. Effective user of computer. Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. Must demonstrate superb problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Education: High school diploma required. Background: Experience in packaging, shipping and inventory (preferred but not required).
