Shipping & Packing Lead

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping & Packing Lead to oversee the efficient operations of our distribution center’s shipping and packing processes. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and safe handling of all outgoing shipments. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards to support seamless warehouse operations. Duties Supervise daily shipping and packing activities, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on schedule Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to maintain accuracy Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate efficient material movement Implement process improvements using lean management principles to optimize warehouse operations and reduce waste Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all warehouse activities Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related logistics roles with warehouse supervisor experience preferred Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution center processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems (WMS) including inventory management systems and RF scanners Valid forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment safely Excellent team management skills with strong managerial communication abilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle materials efficiently using appropriate equipment Familiarity with OSHA standards, lean management practices, and process improvement methodologies Prior experience in warehouse experience or materials handling within a fast-paced environment is highly desirable Join us as our Shipping & Packing Lead to energize our logistics operations!
