We specialize in selling retro video games, modern gaming consoles, collectibles, electronics, accessories, snacks, and a wide variety of other merchandise through platforms such as Whatnot. Our business processes a large volume of customer orders, and our shipping department plays an essential role in making sure every customer receives the correct products, properly packaged, and shipped on time. We are looking for hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals to join our warehouse shipping and fulfillment team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse position that requires employees to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to small details, and understands the importance of getting every order right. Position Overview As a Shipping & Packing Associate, you will be responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment, packing merchandise safely, verifying order accuracy, printing shipping labels, and keeping the shipping department organized. Our company sells thousands of different products, meaning you will regularly handle items of different shapes, sizes, values, and packaging requirements. Some orders may contain a single video game, while others may contain multiple gaming consoles, accessories, collectibles, or other products purchased during our live auctions. You must be able to work quickly, stay organized, follow instructions, and maintain accuracy throughout your shift. Speed is extremely important in this position, but accuracy is equally important. We need employees who can consistently package orders efficiently without mixing up merchandise, overlooking items, or creating avoidable shipping errors. Primary Responsibilities Your daily responsibilities will include: Picking, sorting, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Verifying that the correct merchandise is included in each customer's order. Packing video games, consoles, controllers, electronics, collectibles, and other products. Selecting appropriate boxes, padded mailers, protective packaging, and shipping materials. Properly protecting fragile and valuable merchandise during shipping. Printing, reviewing, and applying shipping labels. Ensuring shipping labels are matched to the correct packages. Processing individual and multi-item customer orders. Identifying missing merchandise, incorrect items, or order discrepancies. Separating completed packages from orders still awaiting fulfillment. Organizing merchandise and shipping materials throughout the workday. Preparing completed shipments for carrier pickup. Keeping workstations clean, safe, and organized. Following established shipping procedures and company guidelines. Communicating order issues to supervisors or management. Assisting other shipping employees when necessary. Meeting reasonable daily productivity and accuracy expectations. Order Accuracy & Attention to Detail Accuracy is one of the most important requirements for this position. Because we sell merchandise through live auctions, customers may purchase multiple products during a single show. It is extremely important that every item is correctly identified, sorted, and packaged. You will be expected to: Verify order contents before sealing packages. Confirm product quantities and item descriptions. Identify and report merchandise that appears incorrect or damaged. Prevent merchandise from different customers' orders from being mixed together.
