Shipping & Order Fulfillment Assistant – Part-Time (Temporary)

About Mother-ease Mother-ease is a family-owned Canadian manufacturer of high-quality reusable cloth diapers and baby products. Since 1991, we've proudly manufactured our products right here in St. Catharines, Ontario, serving customers across Canada and around the world. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our small team and help keep our shipping and order fulfillment operations running smoothly. This is a temporary, part-time position with the possibility of becoming a longer-term role depending on business needs. What You'll Be Doing As our Shipping & Order Fulfillment Assistant, you'll help ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time while supporting the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include: Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, prepare, package, and ship retail and wholesale orders. Quality Control & Product Finishing: Inspect finished products, complete final finishing tasks, and prepare products for packaging and shipment. Customer Service: Respond to customer emails and assist with order-related inquiries in a friendly, professional manner. Inventory & Organization: Help organize finished products, maintain accurate stock locations, and keep the shipping room tidy and efficient. General Cleaning: Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment, including shipping and production areas. Team Support: Pitch in with other general tasks as needed to help our small team succeed. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing a job well, is comfortable working independently, and enjoys staying organized. The ideal candidate will have: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. A strong work ethic and dependable attendance. The ability to work independently, stay focused, and manage daily priorities. Good written communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude. Basic computer skills and confidence learning new software. A willingness to perform a variety of hands-on tasks throughout the day. The ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to help wherever needed. Previous experience in shipping, order fulfillment, inventory, or customer service is an asset, but we're happy to train the right person. Position Details Approximately 15–20 hours per week. Weekdays only (no weekends, no evenings) On-site at our St. Catharines manufacturing facility. Temporary employment with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
