Shipping Operations Assistant
Law Office of Nicholas Polasky, LLCJob Overview Law Office of Nicholas Polasky, LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Shipping Operations Assistant to support document handling, mailing, shipping, and daily administrative operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with documents, packages, and computer systems. The Shipping Operations Assistant will help prepare documents and packages for delivery, maintain mailing records, coordinate routine shipments, and support the office with administrative tasks. Training will be provided, and previous shipping or legal office experience is not required. Responsibilities Prepare documents, correspondence, and packages for outgoing shipment Verify addresses, labels, and delivery information for accuracy Sort and organize incoming mail and packages Distribute incoming documents and deliveries to the appropriate team members Print shipping labels and prepare mailing documentation Track outgoing packages and maintain shipment records Coordinate routine pickups with postal and courier services Maintain organized records of incoming and outgoing shipments Assist with scanning, copying, filing, and document organization Enter basic shipping and document information into company systems Monitor mailing and shipping supplies and request replenishment when needed Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrectly addressed packages Handle confidential documents according to company procedures Assist with routine administrative tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized mail and shipping area Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and time-management skills Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills Ability to handle documents and information carefully Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new systems and procedures Pay: $22.50 - $23.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
