Shipping & Office Coordinator
Lancaster Safety Consulting, Inc.Lancaster Safety is an award-winning occupational safety & health consulting firm serving companies across the United States. Most of our team works remotely or on a hybrid schedule, which means our Wexford office runs on one dependable, self-directed person. We’re looking for an organized Shipping & Office Coordinator who takes pride in owning their work, enjoys an independent workday, and wants to be part of a team that lives its values. Is This Role Right for You? This is a full-time, in-office position. Because most of our team is fully remote or hybrid, you’ll often be the only person in the office. Hybrid teammates come in a few days a month, but on most days your coworkers will be a phone call, message, or video meeting away rather than down the hall. You’ll thrive here if you: Prefer working independently and are comfortable managing your own day without someone checking in. re self-directed: you see what needs to be done and take care of it. Enjoy a quiet workspace and are comfortable spending most of the day on your own while staying connected to the team virtually. Take ownership of the office as if it were your own. Stay calm and adaptable when a rush job comes in, shifting gears quickly to get it out the door on time. If you’re looking for frequent face-to-face collaboration or a busy, social office environment, this probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s okay! Our Core Values Everything we do is guided by four core values. Here’s what they look like in this role: Commit to Excellence: Every package that leaves our office represents Lancaster Safety. Accuracy and quality matter, even when no one is looking over your shoulder. Be Kind: Greet every caller and visitor warmly, and treat coworkers, clients, and vendors with patience and respect. Build Positive Relationships: Even while working on your own, you’ll stay connected with remote coworkers through calls, messages, and video meetings, make the most of the days hybrid teammates are in the office, and support the clients and vendors who rely on you. Go Above and Beyond: Step up when a rush job lands, and spot what needs attention before anyone asks, whether that’s restocking supplies, troubleshooting a printer, or finding a better way to get something done. The Shipping & Office Coordinator will: Not be stuck behind a desk all day. This position requires a combination of standing and computer work. Serve as the on-site point person for our Wexford office. Oversee the production room and general office areas, maintain inventory, coordinate with I.T. to set up workstations, manage supplies, and maintain printers. Conduct small housekeeping duties around the office as needed. Answer the office doorbell, receive visitors, and ensure they follow proper procedures. Receive and process incoming packages.
