Full job description Mountain View Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated pharmacy that is committed to our community and committed to greatness. We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Shipping Manager to join our team at a newly acquired Pharmacy in Arizona. As the Shipping Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our shipping operations, managing the shipping team, and ensuring medications are packed accurately, professionally, and on time. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the shipping department, ensuring medications are packed accurately, professionally, and efficiently Supervise and manage shipping staff, providing direction and ensuring the team remains on task Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and before the scheduled pickup time Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of shipping materials, including boxes, ice, and frozen ice packs Order new shipping supplies as needed and ensure adequate inventory is available for daily operations Restock freezers nightly with ice and ensure there are enough frozen ice packs prepared for the following day's shipments Retrieve orders promptly as they are received to ensure medications are not sitting out unnecessarily Prioritize daily tasks and coordinate shipping activities to ensure deadlines are consistently met Maintain an organized and efficient shipping area Requirements Strong people skills and excellent communication abilities Ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Understanding of stocking requirements and inventory ordering Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and accuracy We can offer competitive pay based on experience.
