Shipping Manager

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Shipping Manager to lead our shipping operations and ensure the seamless movement of goods from our warehouse to customers and partners. This role is vital in coordinating logistics, supervising shipping staff, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Duties Oversee daily shipping activities, including order picking, packaging, and dispatching shipments accurately and on time Supervise and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring safety protocols and operational procedures are followed Coordinate with 3PL providers, carriers, and internal departments to streamline logistics processes Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or AS400 to track shipments, update records, and analyze data for process improvements Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize warehouse distribution workflows Manage inventory levels related to shipping supplies and coordinate purchasing of packaging materials Ensure compliance with safety standards during heavy lifting, forklift operation, and other warehouse activities Experience Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with a focus on shipping or logistics management Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms like SAP or AS400 Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives within a distribution environment Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as Windows operating systems Bilingual skills in English and French are preferred for effective communication across diverse teams Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes, order picking techniques, and customer service standards Join us as a Shipping Manager to lead our logistics team with energy and precision!
