Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving activities within the warehouse, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and materials handling.
• Oversee transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP platforms (EPICOR) to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate with procurement, sourcing, and vendor management teams to optimize freight costs, negotiate contracts, and maintain trade compliance with international trade regulations.
• Develop and implement process improvements in warehouse distribution, inventory management, demand planning, and shipping logistics to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers (Third-Party Logistics) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to facilitate seamless transportation planning and order fulfillment.
• Conduct root cause analysis on shipping delays or discrepancies using data analysis skills in SQL, Excel data analysis, and supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Skills
• Extensive experience with warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and supply chain analytics tools
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems (EPICOR), and inventory control software.
• Proven ability in procurement negotiations, category management, pricing strategies, and vendor/supplier management experience.
• Skilled in demand planning, freight management, cross-functional communication, and logistics management to optimize shipping logistics processes.
• Proficiency in data collection techniques, Excel spreadsheets for data analysis, SQL queries for reporting insights, and Microsoft Office suite for documentation.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, NVOCC operations, and customs procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on process improvement initiatives such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production planning, and sourcing strategies.
• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a culture of safety in warehouse operations through manual handling protocols and forklift safety standards.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
