Shipping Manager

At least 3 years of dispatching truck drivers At least 3 years of Customer service experience At least 3 years supervising shipping yard crews Required skills: Professional communication skills Customer service Computer literacy Good organizational skills Job Duties(but not limited to) Work closely with the production department and job sites in order to schedule deliveries. Keep shipping schedules up to date as well as what is currently being produced Communicate with customers and job sites to ensure production is building what they need. Work closely with truck drivers and monitor their logs, hours, loads. Ensure they are following all rules and regulations to stay in compliance with inspections, repairs. Work with plant manager and shipping department to ensure the correct product is being loaded on each truck to the correct job by the customer's scheduled time. Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person REQUIREMENTS Manufacturing plant in West Monroe, Louisiana.
