Shipping & Logistics Specialist – Scientific Instruments Elemental Scientific is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a shipping & logistics specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the packaging and shipping of our specialized scientific instruments and consumables. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Package and ship precision-engineered scientific instruments – meticulous attention to detail is required. Process outgoing shipments - including hazardous materials. Manage shipping and inventory documentation accurately and efficiently. Ensure correct parts and quantities are identified, received, and distributed. Assist with routine cycle counting and inventory management tasks as directed. Assemble product kits and packages based on specific customer and internal requirements . Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure complete and accurate delivery to customers. Liaise with customers, vendors, and carriers to manage shipments and inventory. Qualifications: Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management—preferably in a technical, manufacturing, or laboratory environment. Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and QuickBooks processes is a plus. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow precise protocols. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting. Ability to regularly stand, and lift/move items up to 60 lbs. Interest in long-term growth within a technology-focused company.
