We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Lead to join our team in Carnesville, GA. Position Overview: The Shipping & Logistics Lead will oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, coordinate outgoing deliveries, manage incoming materials, and ensure customer orders are accurately packaged and shipped on schedule. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail, and experience coordinating logistics in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and logistics operations. Coordinate outgoing shipments, freight pickups, and delivery schedules. Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and other required paperwork. Verify orders for accuracy, quantities, and customer specifications before shipment. Ensure materials and finished products are properly packaged, labeled, and secured. Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service to ensure on-time deliveries. Manage incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders. Monitor inventory movement and maintain accurate shipping records. Communicate with freight carriers, vendors, and customers regarding shipment status. Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, efficiency, and freight costs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. Provide direction and support to shipping personnel. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of freight coordination, shipping documentation, and inventory management. Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Strong computer skills and ability to use shipping and inventory systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
