Shipping Logistics Clerk

The opportunity NEWP is hiring a Shipping Clerk to keep product moving out the door on time and inventory counts accurately. The Shipping Clerk works with the Logistics and Customer Service teams and with shipping vendors. You will thrive here if you pay close attention to detail, solve problems quickly, communicate clearly, and stay steady under pressure. What you will own Run shipping and receiving manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies Track every shipment: trace and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, working with Logistics, Customer Service, shipping vendors, and drivers Prepare outgoing orders: print labels and paperwork for outgoing shipments Keep the dock and inventory accurate: maintain dock and material placements, log daily moves, scan inventory, and count accurately Improve how we ship: identify areas for improvement and oversee the implementation of improvement projects Who we are looking for 1+ years of experience in a similar role Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory control, distribution, and management principles Working knowledge of SAP and ERP software Proficient in Excel for maintaining records Neat, organized, and able to multitask under pressure with strong time management
