Shipping Lead
DIG CorporationJob Overview Job Summary: The Shipping Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods. This role includes supervising shipping team members, coordinating outbound logistics, verifying orders, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and carrier regulations. The Shipping Lead plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, train, and support the shipping team to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and internal departments Verify shipment contents, documentation, and labeling for accuracy Ensure compliance with shipping policies, safety standards, and carrier requirements Monitor and maintain shipping supplies and equipment Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments Maintain accurate records of shipments, manifests, and tracking information Collaborate with customer service, production, and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize shipping performance Use ERP system (Acumatica) to manage and track shipments Other projects and assignments as given by Management EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferred Prior leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred Familiarity with shipping software and systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, LTL, ERP) Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations is a plus Bi-lingual individual in English and Spanish is a plus Forklift Operator experience required Join us as a Shipping Lead and become a vital part of our dynamic logistics team!
