We supply footwear to retailers and customers nationwide through wholesale, e-commerce, and marketplace channels. We're a small, hands-on team looking for a dependable and organized Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator to help manage our daily shipping operations. Job Description We're looking for someone who can take ownership of the daily order fulfillment process, from reviewing incoming orders to making sure the correct products are picked, verified, and shipped according to each customer's requirements. You'll work closely with our warehouse staff, who handle the physical picking and organization of merchandise. Your primary responsibility will be coordinating their workflow, double-checking order accuracy, processing shipments, and ensuring orders are completed correctly and on time. We handle several types of orders, including wholesale, dropshipping, online marketplaces, direct-to-consumer, and third-party logistics (3PL). Each channel has its own shipping procedures and requirements, so being organized, flexible, and able to follow different instructions is important. This is a hands-on coordination role, not a traditional warehouse management position. Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Fulfillment Review and process daily sales orders, pick tickets, and shipping requests. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked and prepared on time. Verify picked merchandise against sales orders for correct styles, sizes, and quantities. Identify and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and picking errors before shipping. Ensure orders are properly completed and updated in our order management system. Keep track of outstanding orders and follow through until fulfillment is complete. Shipping & Logistics Process daily shipments using UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other shipping platforms. Compare shipping rates to select cost-effective shipping options. Follow customer-specific shipping instructions, routing guides, and carrier requirements. Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, and other necessary documentation. Coordinate freight shipments, pallet preparation, and carrier pickups. Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and shipping deadlines. Troubleshoot shipping issues and communicate delays or discrepancies when necessary. Multi-Channel Order Management Process wholesale, e-commerce, marketplace, dropshipping, and 3PL orders. Follow different standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on the customer or sales channel. Ensure orders meet account-specific packing, labeling, routing, and shipping requirements. Adapt to changes in customer requirements and shipping procedures. Maintain accuracy while handling multiple orders and priorities throughout the day. Warehouse Coordination Communicate daily picking priorities and assignments to warehouse staff. Check completed picking work for accuracy before orders are shipped. Help maintain an organized and efficient shipping workflow. Work with team members to resolve fulfillment issues and prevent delays. Assist with hands-on warehouse tasks when needed. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in shipping, order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred. Experience processing orders and working with shipping software. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipping procedures. Comfortable using computers, order management systems, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
