Shipping & Documentation Technician

As our Shipping & Documentation Technician, you’ll turn products into shipments that arrive complete, intact, and on time. When You’ll Work 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM What Will You Do? Choose the right protection: match boxes, containers, and padding to each product and route. Pack for the journey: cushion, wrap, and seal so items withstand transit. Trust but verify: double-check quantities and perform quality control before packaging. Label flawlessly: generate labels and ensure each package is correctly identified. Leverage the tools: use shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to create manifests and track every parcel. Keep schedules tight: coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight forwarders. Stage with intention: organize outbound loads for safe, efficient loading in line with priorities. Record everything: maintain precise logs—contents, tracking numbers, and shipping documents—for inventory control and customer support. Collaborate: align closely with warehouse teams to ensure packaged items are ready for timely shipment. Communicate: keep internal partners informed, resolve inquiries, and address shipping issues proactively. Work the 6S way: sustain a neat, safe, and efficient workspace. What Makes You a Fit A strong quality control mindset and safety management approach. Excellent dexterity and hand–eye coordination for handling small components. Reliable attendance, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Your Background High school diploma or GED. Experience as a Shipping/Packaging Clerk (or similar) with knowledge of packaging techniques, shipping procedures, and documentation. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to following them. Physical stamina: ability to stand for long periods, lift heavier items, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
