We also do LCL and FTL to other distribution centers and some exports.
Our company has outgrown our staff capabilities in the shipping area.
Although our staff is loyal and we are loyal to them, the skills it takes to run a burgeoning and growing shipping center is just not there.
For the role, we are looking for a Shipping Center Supervisor who can take over and lead a team of talented individuals that do show up every day and they do put in a hard days work.

· Process-oriented mindset: A sharp eye for workflow bottlenecks and a continuous drive to optimize picking, packing, and staging layouts for maximum efficiency.
· Clear, concise communication: Delivering direct instructions and expectations quickly to the floor without room for ambiguity.
· High emotional intelligence (EQ): Staying calm and composed to keep the team focused and prevent problems.
· Empowerment and delegation: Trusting shift leads and team members with specific zones or tasks so that you can focus on high-level oversight and other tasks.
Key Responsibilities
· Daily Operations Management: Oversee parcel sorting, scanning, loading, and dispatch workflows to meet strict delivery and carrier cutoff times.
· Team Leadership & Scheduling: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse and shipping staff. Create shift schedules, assign daily tasks, and conduct performance reviews.
· Carrier & Route Coordination: Liaise with courier lines, postal services, and linehaul drivers to schedule pickups and manage parcel flows.
· Quality Control & Tracking: Inspect parcel labels, barcodes, and manifest accuracy. Track and trace delayed, misrouted, or damaged packages and resolve discrepancies.
· Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace health and safety ( MOL / HR / OSHA ) rules, equipment safety checks, and security protocols.
· Problem Solving & Reporting: Address operational bottlenecks, customer or driver complaints, and generate daily/monthly throughput reports for senior management.
