Posted: Oct 13, 2026 Shipping & Delivery Specialist Kramer Madison - Waunakee, WI business_center Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 Hourly Application Deadline: Nov 30, 2026 Business & Information Kramer Madison is looking for a dependable Shipping & Delivery Specialist to coordinate outgoing shipments, prepare completed orders for delivery, and make local deliveries throughout the Greater Madison area. This hands-on role keeps customer orders moving accurately and on time. You’ll manage daily shipping and delivery priorities, maintain inventory records, and assist with fulfillment and additional production tasks as needed. After initial training and guidance, you’ll be expected to organize your workload and work independently. Role & Responsibilities Read and follow job tickets to confirm order requirements, quantities, packing instructions, shipping or delivery details, and deadlines. Prepare completed print jobs, promotional products, and other customer orders for shipment or delivery. Verify quantities, addresses, packing slips, delivery instructions, and package labels before orders leave. Compare carrier rates and services, prepare shipping labels and documents, and coordinate pickups. Plan shipments around required arrival dates, especially for trade shows and events. Make deliveries throughout the Greater Madison area using company vehicles, including a straight truck. No CDL is required. Receive incoming packages and materials, check quantities and condition against packing slips, and notify the appropriate team members of arrivals or discrepancies. Maintain the daily shipping and delivery schedule, coordinating priorities with production and customer service. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload orders; confirm receipt and document completed deliveries. Use Excel and other software to maintain inventory records and shipping and delivery logs. Operate a forklift to move materials, skids, and completed orders. Assist with online store picking, packing, and other fulfillment tasks as needed. Keep shipping, receiving, and staging areas clean, organized, and safe. Additional production responsibilities as needed, including assembling, collating, counting, packaging, and other tasks following appropriate training. Required Skills & Experience Experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or warehouse operations. Familiarity with shipping systems (UPS/FedEx/Shippo), carrier services, and shipping documents. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. A valid driver’s license and comfort safely operating a straight truck. Forklift certification and operating experience. Ability to perform the physical tasks of packing, loading, unloading, and moving products, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adjust to changing priorities. Willingness to learn production tasks and help across departments as workload requires. Excel proficiency and comfort learning new systems. Professional, courteous communication with customers and coworkers. You’ll be a good fit if you take ownership of getting orders out the door, check details before loading or shipping, and plan ahead to meet deadlines.
