Shipping Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed) Location: La Mirada, CA (In person) Job Description We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our team! This is a fast-paced office position that involves processing shipments, working with freight carriers, and managing daily emails. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on a computer, can multitask, and is a quick learner. This position will also be cross-trained to assist our Admin team with order entry when needed. Job Responsibilities Process and book approximately 35–40 shipments daily. Enter and verify shipping information Compare freight rates and select the best shipping options. Work with LTL, FTL, FedEx, UPS, and other shipping carriers. Schedule pickups and follow up on deliveries. Respond to emails and communicate with customers, carriers, and internal departments. Assist with customer order entry when Admin coverage is needed. Qualifications Previous shipping, logistics, or data entry experience preferred. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience with Sage 100, FedEx, or UPS is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good time management and organizational skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new systems and procedures. Available to work overtime when needed.
