Shipping Coordinator

Aylmer Express Graphics Group is a locally owned and operated commercial printer and publisher with a proud history of quality, service and community focus. We are seeking a full-time Shipping Coordinator to primarily support shipping and receiving operations, with occasional assistance in bindery and production. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and a proactive problem-solver who takes pride in accuracy, works well with others and can manage competing priorities in a busy production environment. Duties Prepare orders for shipment, including packing, labelling and coordinating outgoing deliveries Receive incoming materials, verify shipments and identify discrepancies Organize and prioritize outgoing orders to meet shipping deadlines, with the direction of the production manager Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy, completeness and consistency Identify and troubleshoot shipping, receiving or production issues, working with team members to resolve them Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records Assist with bindery and finishing operations, including folding, collating, packaging and general production support Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Support team members and assist with general shop duties as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment to quality Practical problem-solving skills, initiative and the ability to identify and address issues Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Comfortable performing physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
