Position: Shipping Coordinator Wyoming Welding is a leading provider of manufacturing, welding, and fabrication solutions. Summary: Our Shipping Coordinator is the last set of hands on every job before it reaches our customer. This person owns the shipping process from start to finish: packaging and palletizing finished product, arranging freight, loading and unloading trucks, running parts to and from powder coat, and keeping every shipment accurately documented in our ERP system. We ship everything from small parcels to full truckloads of structural steel, frames, skids, and small parts, so no two days look the same. We have pre-employment and random monthly drug tests. Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Work as a member of a team in order to achieve The Goal - Conduct yourself in accordance with the MISSION, VISION, and VALUES - Package finished products for shipment, including boxing, crating, palletizing, banding, and wrapping to prevent damage in transit. - Arrange shipping with carriers and brokers, parcel carriers, LTL, full truckload, and hotshot carriers; obtain quotes, schedule pickups, and select the best option for cost and delivery date. - Haul product to and from our powder coat vendor and verify counts and condition at pickup and drop-off. - Load and unload trucks and trailers safely with a forklift. - Create, track, and accurately maintain all shipping records in our ERP system. - Prepare and maintain accurate shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing lists, and delivery receipts. - Coordinate with production and the office on ship dates, job status, and customer delivery requirements. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shipping area and staging space. - Unload steel trucks and enter MTRs into the inventory system. - Continuously improve, learn, and grow both personally and professionally. - Work 40 hours per week or more if needed based on weekly production. Qualifications: - Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record - Ability to drive manual pickup and pull a trailer - Forklift experience required; certification preferred (we will certify the right candidate). - Comfortable using a computer and learning an ERP system. - Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple shipments at once, and able to lift 50 lbs.
