Shipping Coordinator (2nd and 3rd shift)

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless shipping and receiving operations across our distribution network. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the entire shipping and receiving process, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, process shipments, and update records efficiently. Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and packaging materials adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations when applicable. Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, pick, pack, and organize inventory. Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize order picking & packing procedures using ERP systems software for accurate stock management. Maintain detailed data entry logs for shipments, inventory movements, and order statuses while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues related to shipping logistics or delivery schedules. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes. Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as SAP or similar systems. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation requirements. Skilled in using basic math for measurements, calculations related to weight/volume/quantities, and order accuracy verification. Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and inventory control tasks. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and external partners.
