Shipping Clerk (night shift)
Tower ExtrusionsDescription: About the Role Tower Extrusions, LLC. is a privately owned aluminum extrusion company that has been in business for over 40 years. We have seen tremendous growth over that time and are looking to add to our team at our Wylie, TX location. We are hiring a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping operations at our Wylie, TX facility. This role works closely with the shipping supervisor and loaders to prepare, document, and track outbound loads. Key Responsibilities Look up customer and sales order information in EPICS Run reports comparing sales order status to the load board schedule Print ticket picklist reports and mark bundles on the shipping floor for loaders Follow up with loaders to confirm all bundles are loaded and scanned Take photos of loads and upload them to the company shared drive Prepare shipping picklists, manifests, BOLs, and shipping packets Arrange FedEx or UPS shipments as needed Assist and/or cover the receiving clerk position when needed Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the shipping supervisor or manager What We Offer Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) retirement plan Holiday and vacation pay Requirements: Requirements Previous shipping, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred Comfortable working in an ERP system (EPICS experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Able to work on the shipping floor and coordinate with loaders throughout the shift This role is not desk-only; expect regular time outdoors on the shipping/receiving dock and yard.
