Pay: Starting pay is $21.65/hr Overtime Potential! Ensure you have access to a valid email Qualified applicants will receive a phone call to schedule an onsite interview Post-Offer Background Check required Drug Screen required Resume is required Job Summary: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining inventory records in a warehouse or logistics environment. Job Duties : Maintain and keep accurate records of outgoing and incoming shipments, including tracking information Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and Uber freight to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely transportation of goods Complete necessary and accurate shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, ensuring compliance with regulations Coordinate with Operations and Warehousing to ensure order timelines are met and the correct product is being produced Verify all orders are picked, staged, and accurate. Follow up with carriers on missed appointments or ETA's Maintain a list of orders filled throughout the day requiring Peco pallets for tracking purposes Pick the right product from inventory and packaging using the correct material and understanding FIFO Creating accurate picking tasks, quality checks and filing of all paperwork Reply to emails for all shipping related requests and appointments Run shipping manifests and check for accuracy for completed picks and shipments Complete end-of-day reporting with manifest, total # of pallets shipped, picked and list any inventory concerns Assist with preparing shipments by ensuring they are securely packed and loaded to prevent damage during transit Follow all FDA health and OSHA safety regulations Maintain a tidy workspace and follow all health and safety guidelines Organize material storage Assist in the end of month and inventory counting process Represent self and company in a professional and positive manner Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of Hersheys Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service Perform all other duties assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner Requirements High School diploma or GED Previous experience with warehouse management system, Ex.
