Nightforce Optics is growing, and we are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure our products reach customers accurately, efficiently, and on time. From preparing shipments to coordinating deliveries and supporting order inquiries, you will play an important part in delivering the quality and service our customers expect from Nightforce. Location: Orofino, ID Shift: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Purpose of the Role: This position is responsible for processing orders and receiving shipments on a daily basis. Includes final inspections, packaging and shipping goods, scheduling transportation for shipments, and utilizing our internal software application. This position also provides customer service, as needed, for order inquiries. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning and working knowledge of subject matter. Focuses more on a single specialty within the shipping department. Essential Job Duties: Cleaning, final inspection, packaging, and shipping merchandise Customer service duties with tracking and delivery of merchandise Print labels and shipping documents Check order status Entering all relevant information into computer program Assisting with inventory counts Coordinating with members on any aspects of merchandise pick up or deliveries General cleaning and stocking duties in all areas of the department Assist with unloading trucks/trailers as necessary Non-Essential Duties: Additional Duties as Assigned Requirements: Required Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with computer systems Must have strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write and comprehend written procedures, safety guidelines, etc. Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements Organizational skills are expected, along with a high attention to detail Must be reliable, dependable and have high personal integrity Must be able to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Shipping/Receiving work experience, preferred Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager would be considered a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word and Excel, highly preferred Physical Requirements: Required to LIFT/CARRY up to 50 pounds Required to PULL/PUSH up to 25 pounds Bend: Occasionally Twist: Occasionally Squat: Occasionally Climb: Occasionally Kneel/Crawl: Occasionally Reach/Reach Overhead: Occasionally Finger Dexterity/Fine Manipulation: Continuously Sit: Continuously Computer/Mouse Use: Continuously Drive: Occasionally What Sets Us Apart? 100% paid benefits for the employee including: medical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance Paid Time Off Package - 60 hours your first year and increases year after year 10-13 paid holidays per year Matching 401k after one year of employment 4-day work week, who doesn't like 3-day weekends?
