Shipping Clerk/Forklift Operator
LUXIT GroupThis position is on the morning shift (7am to 3pm or 8am-4pm), Monday-Friday & weekends as needed. Previous forklift & shipping experience is required. We offer weekly pay plus monthly attendance bonuses! Experience: Forklift: At least 2 years of previous sit-down experience is required. Previous experience with handheld RF scanner is required. Previous experience with Shipping and Receiving is required. Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently. Proficient in order picking and packing processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Schedule: 8 + hour shift Must have weekend availability Job Summary: Receive and inspect incoming shipments. Load and unload trucks with a sit-down forklift. Utilize ERP systems Utilize RF scanner Computer Data entry Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders or shipping documents. Stock received items in designated warehouse locations. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts. Verify the accuracy of all deliveries and inspect the quantities of goods delivered and determine if anything is damaged. Collaborate and communicate with logistics and supervisors. Must make sure that the shipment of all products, material and supplies is in order. Prepare material for shipping by banding, scanning and processing. Move/organize materials throughout the warehouse as needed with forklift and Pallet-Jack. Must be comfortable with technology. Print and apply labels. Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times. Work as part of a team.
