Shipping Clerk

Responsibilities Manage shipping & receiving documentation using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems for accurate data entry. Coordinate with inventory management teams to track stock levels, perform stock replenishment, and update inventory management software regularly. Ensure compliance with regulations during order fulfillment processes. Assist in order picking and order fulfillment activities, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment for optimal warehouse distribution efficiency. Support logistics operations by scheduling shipments, preparing shipping labels, and verifying shipment details against customer orders. Follow safety protocols including proper use of forklift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status or issues. Experience Previous experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software and ERP platforms is essential. Hands-on experience with shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and use of RF scanners or barcode scanning technology. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment weights. Demonstrated competence in data entry tasks with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping documentation. Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and international trade procedures is a plus. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers is desirable; certification is a bonus. Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to support efficient warehouse distribution processes.
