E-commerce Shipping & Fulfillment Clerk Year-Round · $19–$22/hr (Depending on experience) · 40 hrs/week About the Company Sweet Yards is a small seed company in Palm Springs that offers hundreds of organic vegetable, herb, fruit, and flower seed varieties to home gardeners across the country through online sales. We’re a small, family-run team, and we value our employees and work to make their jobs as enjoyable as possible. About the Job Print shipping labels and pick lists from Shopify and ShipStation. Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time. Prepare outgoing orders for daily carrier pickup at the warehouse. Print and apply product labels (such as 2-pack, 1-lb bag, and Amazon FNSKU labels) using our label printer and shared files. Restock packing supplies and keep the shipping area clean and organized. Help with inventory counts, returns, and order issues. When order volume is low, help with product assembly, such as filling and sealing variety packs. Full-time, year-round position with hands-on training on our order and shipping systems. Morning start required, so orders are packed and ready for carrier pickup. Within the morning, you choose your start time, as long as you work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), plus paid sick leave. About You Accurate and detail-oriented: the right seeds, to the right customer, every time. Dependable: orders ship every day, so you come in when you say you will. Organized and able to keep track of many small orders without mixing them up. Comfortable with computers; experience with Shopify or ShipStation is a plus. Able to communicate well and not afraid to ask for help when needed. Ability to comfortably lift 50 lb. Experience in shipping, warehouse, or retail is a plus but not required.
