Shipping Clerk

Job Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll keep orders moving accurately from the warehouse floor to their destinations. You’ll coordinate shipping and receiving, update records, and work with warehouse teams and customers to support dependable order fulfillment. Your impact: Accurate shipment processing helps customers receive the right orders and helps warehouse teams maintain reliable inventory. Duties Prepare, pick, pack, label, and stage orders; use an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift as needed. Load and unload shipments, support stocking, and verify incoming and outgoing goods. Enter shipment and inventory data in a warehouse management system, inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or AS400, as applicable. Coordinate shipping logistics and warehouse distribution while following trade compliance requirements and international trade regulations. Respond to customer and carrier questions, resolve routine shipping issues, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office. Requirements Basic math, accurate data entry, and attention to detail. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, order picking, and picking and packing. Understanding of logistics and order fulfillment; exposure to material requirements planning (MRP) systems is helpful. Ability to safely use relevant equipment, including a forklift, order picker, RF scanner, and pallet jack; equipment experience is preferred. Customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with a team. Pay: $23.46 - $28.25 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
