Gilson GraphicsShipping Clerk (FT) As a member of the Gilson Graphics Post-Production team, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for outbound shipments, ensuring accurate, on-time delivery, and compliance with customer shipping requirements. LOCATION: Grand Rapids, MI 49505 SCHEDULE: Full Time, Monday - Friday; 9:00 am - 5:30 pm ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilize Gilson’s shipping management software and fulfillment system for processing customer jobs/orders, inclusive of domestic, internal, and batch Keep manager informed and aware of potential issues, shortages and late shipments as soon as they are recognized Communicate consistency, accurately, and professional with packaging, customer service, shipping and others regarding shipments as needed Assist Fulfillment as needed Assist with maintaining a clean warehouse as needed Other duties as assigned ABOUT US: Gilson Graphics has been a trailblazer in marketing, printing, and band services since the 1940's. Education and Training High school education, GED equivalent or higher Experience Experience using hand trucks and pallet jacks Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Experience using common carriers such as FedEx and UPS preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office mainly Outlook and Excel Demonstrated commitment to quality, detail and accuracy Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Able to maintain a high level of physical activity and standing for prolonged periods
