Shipping Clerk - Contract To Direct

Roles & Responsibilities Performs any combination of tasks required to ship material. For this position, day-to-day responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: Mark parts for shipment (stamping, vibra tool, etc.). Visual inspection of parts while packing. Properly pack parts for shipment. Drive Company vehicle to pick up or deliver items as necessary. Create Bills of Lading and Packing Lists. Contact freight companies to arrange pick up of products. Create export documents. Communicate with Sales on the Shipping Weights and Dimensions Adhere to all company safety requirements Requirements Must be able to operate a forklift and lifting devices. Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job. Must work independently with minimal supervision, and understand and follow both oral and written instructions. Must be able to read and understand work orders, drawings, and other written instructions. Must have basic computer skills and ability to type, email program and other MS Office applications. Operate equipment as necessary. Desired Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
