Shipping Clerk

Job Overview Behind every successful delivery is a well-organized shipping process. We're looking for a Shipping Clerk to help make sure orders are checked, prepared, documented, and ready to reach their destinations on time. You'll play an important part in the final stages of order processing, helping organize outgoing packages, maintain shipment records, and coordinate daily activities with warehouse colleagues. This position combines computer-based recordkeeping with practical warehouse tasks. Looking for a new career opportunity? Previous shipping or warehouse experience is not required. Training will be provided to help you learn the company's processes and systems. Your Daily Responsibilities Get orders ready to go: Locate requested products, verify quantities, package items, attach shipping labels, and organize completed orders. Prepare shipment paperwork: Review delivery details, maintain shipping documents, and make sure order information is complete. Keep shipment records updated: Enter tracking details, product information, and order changes into company systems. Support outgoing deliveries: Help organize packages by destination and prepare shipments for carrier pickup. Check products before dispatch: Identify incorrect quantities, damaged packaging, or missing items before orders leave the facility. Assist with receiving activities: Help process incoming deliveries and direct products to their designated storage locations. Maintain inventory information: Update stock records and communicate discrepancies to the appropriate team members. Maintain an organized workspace: Keep packing stations and shipping areas clean, accessible, and ready for use. What We're Looking For Basic computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities. Basic math skills for checking quantities and order details. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and manage routine tasks. Clear communication and a cooperative attitude. Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Ability to safely handle packages and perform physical tasks when required. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, inventory, or order fulfillment is helpful but not necessary. Pay: $23.63 - $28.46 per hour Work Location: In person
