Our Hodge Foundry location began operation in 1876 and built a reputation for quality casting from its Greenville, Pennsylvania location. The two foundries joined to form a single company in 2008, which is today known as Elyria Foundry. We are a fast-paced, technically advanced, customer-focused operation creating high-quality, American-made products and we’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the Team! Position: Shipping Clerk Work Hours: 9am - 5:30pm Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Process outgoing product orders (palletize, etc.) Ensure accuracy between documentation and product, reviewing for discrepancies Coordinate pickups / work with dispatcher to align timing Manage Inventory within the system and communicate with scheduling/operations Report/resolve damage, missing product and delays in pickups Operator tow motor and other mobile equipment as needed Keep workstation and surrounding work areas clean and organized Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: · Must be 18 years of age or older · HS Diploma or GED preferred · 2+ years of warehouse and / or logistics experience preferred · Strong attention to detail · Basic computer skills · Ability to work independently · Effective communication skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical, and industrial environment · Time management through performing multiple operations simultaneously · Ability to follow work instructions and desire to learn Work Environment and Physical Demands: · Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift. · Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. · Comfortable and cleared to wear FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT · Standing and bending for long periods of time. · Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
