Shipping Clerk

Duties Prepare and process outgoing shipments using shipping logistics software and ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Manage shipping & receiving activities, including loading and unloading freight with equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Pick, pack, and label orders accurately utilizing RF scanners, order pickers, and inventory management software to meet order fulfillment standards. Maintain precise inventory records through data entry and inventory management systems like AS400 or MRP platforms. Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to optimize stock levels, stocking procedures, and order picking workflows. Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements for cross-border shipments. Support packaging operations to safeguard products during transit while adhering to quality standards. Assist in maintaining warehouse safety protocols and cleanliness to promote a secure working environment. Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems, and AS400 platforms. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and warehouse operations. Skilled in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse equipment. Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math abilities for accurate record keeping and calculations. Experience with order picking & packing, stocking procedures, and load & unload activities. Familiarity with e-commerce shipping requirements and packaging standards for efficient delivery.
