Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk Schedule: Tuesday – Friday Four 10-hour shifts Summary The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders, maintaining finished goods inventory, and supporting the efficient movement of materials and products throughout the facility. This position regularly operates a forklift and plays an important role in ensuring products are shipped accurately and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary from time to time. Pack and prepare products for shipment according to customer and company requirements Pick and stage items for shipment and ensure orders are accurate and completed on time Safely operate a forklift to move materials, pick and stage items for shipment, and load and unload trucks Ensure customer orders are accurate and shipped in a timely manner Monitor finished goods inventory and investigate and correct discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy Move finished goods to their proper location(s) and maintain documentation Maintain a clean and organized workspace with an emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency and utilization Accurately complete shipping documentation and enter required shipping and inventory information into company systems Follow all quality and safety procedures Required Qualifications Cass Precision Machining is a values-based organization.
