Shipping Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and timely processing of shipments, ensuring that all goods are prepared, documented, and dispatched efficiently. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics will contribute to seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare shipping documentation using inventory management software and ERP systems to ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal standards Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products safely within the warehouse Pick, pack, and label orders accurately using picking & packing procedures to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines Manage shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with carriers, scheduling pickups, and tracking shipments via shipping logistics systems like AS400 or MRP platforms Conduct inventory management tasks including stock counting, stock replenishment, and updating records in warehouse management systems Ensure proper packaging of goods to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards and trade compliance regulations Maintain detailed records of all shipping activities, including inbound/outbound logs, incident reports, and shipment tracking data for audit purposes Skills Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and international trade regulations Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and documentation Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities efficiently Customer service orientation to handle inquiries related to shipments or delivery issues professionally Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, packaging, load & unload procedures, and order picking Come grow with us and enjoy….
