Shipping Clerk

Location: Alvin, TX 77511 Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Oil & Gas Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll keep orders moving accurately through shipping and receiving. You’ll use warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and coordinate shipments, and support warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Process shipping and receiving paperwork, enter shipment data, and verify order details using Microsoft Office and warehouse systems Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company Track inventory, resolve routine discrepancies, and support warehouse operations, logistics, and shipping logistics Maintaining good communication with customers on deliveries via email and phone calls Qualifications 5+ years of office, or administrative experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving, warehouse distribution, inventory management, or order picking and picking and packing Basic math, accurate data entry, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory management software Knowledge of order fulfillment, logistics, and trade compliance is preferred; willingness to learn applicable procedures is valued Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
