Shipping Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our client's warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. Employment Type: Contract possibly to Permanent Responsibilities Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling products and building loads in the system Maintain accurate records of shipped and received goods within the warehouse management system (WMS) Assist with order picking and order fulfillment tasks to meet customer deadlines Ensure proper inventory management by updating stock levels in warehouse systems Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize shipments efficiently and safely Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Support inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock reconciliation Requirements Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order accuracy Basic math skills for calculating weights, quantities, and measurements Experience with e-commerce order fulfillment, packaging, and order picking processes preferred Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively ProTemps is a respected Canadian-owned staffing agency specializing in Temporary, Contract & Permanent placements.
