Shipping Clerk

Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll keep orders moving accurately through shipping and receiving. You’ll coordinate warehouse distribution, prepare shipments, update records, and support smooth warehouse operations. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products while giving warehouse and logistics teams reliable shipment information. Responsibilities Process shipping and receiving documents, enter shipment data, and maintain accurate inventory records. Pick, pack, label, and stage orders; stock items and verify quantities before dispatch. Use a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or materials requirements planning (MRP) tools to track orders and inventory. Operate an order picker, radio frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift as authorized; load and unload shipments safely. Follow shipping logistics procedures and applicable trade compliance and international trade regulations. Skills Required: Basic math, accurate data entry, attention to detail, and clear customer service communication. Preferred: Warehouse experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, and stocking. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, inventory management software, warehouse management systems, ERP systems, MRP, or AS400 is helpful. Knowledge of warehouse distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, and shipping logistics is an asset. Ability to use a forklift, order picker, RF scanner, and pallet jack safely is preferred.
