Shipping Clerk

Job Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll keep orders moving accurately from the warehouse to their destinations. You’ll coordinate shipping and receiving, update inventory records, and prepare packages for shipment while supporting safe, efficient warehouse operations. Your work will help customers receive complete, correctly documented orders. Duties Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment and shipping records help customers receive the right products and give warehouse teams reliable inventory information. Pick, pack, label, and stage orders; use an order picker, radio-frequency (RF) scanner, pallet jack, or forklift as authorized. Load and unload shipments, receive goods, stock items, and reconcile inventory in warehouse management, inventory management, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Enter shipment and order data, prepare shipping documents, and support domestic and international shipping logistics, including trade compliance with applicable international trade regulations. Coordinate with warehouse distribution, customer service, and logistics teams to resolve order or shipping discrepancies. Skills Essential: Basic math, accurate data entry, attention to detail, and clear communication. Essential: Familiarity with shipping and receiving, packaging, picking and packing, order picking, order fulfillment, stocking, and day-to-day warehouse operations. Preferred: Warehouse experience and knowledge of inventory management, warehouse management systems, inventory management software, ERP systems, materials requirements planning (MRP), or AS400. Preferred: Microsoft Office skills and experience supporting e-commerce orders or warehouse distribution. Ability to safely use relevant equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack, when authorized; customer service experience and knowledge of shipping logistics or trade compliance are valued.
