Shipping Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling of goods. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping logistics will contribute to seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and inventory management software Verify shipping details, including order accuracy, quantities, and packaging requirements Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload goods safely Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade laws during shipping procedures Maintain accurate data entry for shipment records, tracking information, and inventory updates Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit Conduct inventory counts and assist with stocking, order picking, and packing tasks as needed Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or logistics roles Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRPs, and inventory management software Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities and measurements Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers Excellent data entry skills combined with strong customer service orientation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team as a Shipping Clerk if you’re ready to contribute your skills in a vibrant setting that values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
