Shipping Clerk

Match correct containers in container workbench. Verifies ASN (Advanced Shipper Notice) transmisson. Prints and distributes daily JIT. Check customer portals for outstanding or updated customer requirements. Required Skills Excellent computers skills. Ability to safety operate a forklift in tight quarters. Work in a fast paced work environment. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems. Knowledge of automotive shipping and receiving. Understanding of how a shipping warehouse functions. Required Experience Candidates who will be most successful in this role will have experience with: Operation of a forklift on a regular basis. The ability to learn and navigate systems via a computer quickly. Working in a fast paced automotive manufacturing warehouse environment. Working with data and using analytical skills daily. Candidates who will stand out will also have experience in: Inventory control. Using analytical skills to review data and provide information to the Materials Manager and Leadership team.
