This role focuses on accurately picking, counting, and packing small metal pins, bolts, and related components based on customer orders in a clean manufacturing environment. You will prepare and label shipments, use scanning equipment to track inventory, and ensure each order is packaged correctly and on time for daily outbound shipments.

• Pick parts and components from inventory based on detailed customer orders.
• Count and pack small pins, bolts, and metal products into kits according to order specifications.
• Label and scan products in the shipping area to prepare them for daily shipments.
• Use an RF scanner to track inventory movement and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Print and apply shipping labels, packing lists, and other required documentation.
• Perform data entry to update shipping, inventory, and production records accurately.
• Follow inventory control procedures to maintain correct stock levels and organization.
• Inspect items for accuracy and quality before packing and shipping.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in the shipping and production environment.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, including proper attire and equipment use.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality in alignment with production schedules.
Essential Skills
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing with the same company in a production-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with picking, shipping and receiving, and packing operations.
• Strong attention to detail when counting, packaging, and labeling products.
• Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Experience with inventory control processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic data entry skills for updating shipping and inventory systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Commitment to safety procedures and consistent attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience in a shipping clerk or similar logistics role.
• Familiarity with printing and applying various shipping labels.
• Comfort working with small metal components such as pins and bolts.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Willingness to work a consistent MondayFriday schedule with occasional earlier start times as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility that produces pins for transmissions and semi-trailers, running regular production throughout the day. The work is performed on the first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of starting at 6:30 a.m. when needed. The environment is clean and safety-focused, with safety designated as the top priority. Attendance and reliability are highly emphasized. Dress requirements include no baggy clothing, mandatory steel-toe or composite-toe footwear, hair pulled back, and no jewelry allowed. You will work around production equipment and shipping stations, using RF scanners, computers for data entry, and label printers as part of the daily workflow.

This is a Contract position based out of Millington, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
