Shipping Clerk
H&R LaborESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer service and answering high volume of calls. Process bill of lading for shipping out trucks. Direct trucks to docking area. Effectively communicate necessary information to sales, production, drivers, buyers and shipping staff. File paperwork and handle all office procedures. Perform administrative duties as instructed by the Shipping Supervisor or Manager. Assist with the staffing of the facility scale process of operating truck scales as needed, recording of weights and managing the flow of traffic and records associated with the scales. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1-2 years’ experience in a shipping clerk Ability to understand and follow safety procedures Must be able to handle high volume of phone calls. Ability to lead and train staff Basic computer knowledge Problem solving abilities. Excellent, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Experience in food manufacturing Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Experience: CGMP: 1 year (Required) Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Required) Ability to Relocate: Arvin, CA 93203: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
