Core Responsibilities Order Processing & Packaging : Select appropriate packing methods to protect finished manufactured goods during transit. Secure, seal, box and label outbound shipments. Shipping Documentation : Generating, checking and maintaining essential paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, customs documents and digital carrier manifests. Receiving & Material Flow : Unloading incoming deliveries of raw materials or components. Inspect them for quality or damage, count items against purchase order and route them directly to production lines or inventory storage. Inventory Tracking : Using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – such as SAP – to track shipments. Carrier Coordination : Communicating daily with freight carriers, LTL (less-than-truckload) drivers and delivery services (UPS or FedEx) to schedule pickups and resolve transport issues. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving processes. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRP systems. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, and trade compliance standards. Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Excellent data entry skills combined with basic math proficiency for inventory counts and order calculations. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and coordinate with carriers. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. No phone calls, emails or agencies please.
