Shipping Clerk

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Responsible for billing completed loads to the customers. Answer and respond to calls from the guards and other entities. Allow trailers in and out of the shipping dock. Responsible for providing kill certificates to the specified customers, when required. Required to read, write, and do basic math. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. Maintain and report accurate inventories. Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisors or manager. All other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Excellent Attendance Records. Minimum 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer. Valid Driver’s license Reading, writing, and mathematical skills required. One year’s experience operating a forklift. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable. Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Able to stand for several hours.
